Steamboat Springs, Colorado

For spring break this year we wanted to plan something different and exciting. At first we looked into places like Hawaii, California, or Florida... where things are warm! But as plans kept falling through we ended up finding a place that wasn't too far of a trip but was somewhere new!

Steamboat Springs, Colorado

Well... this is what we saw when we arrived! Snow, lots of snow! This is the view from our room!
So it wasn't exactly what you would call a "spring" break- a little more like a "winter" break- though it wasn't a break from winter at all!! In fact it was a little confusing as if we had traveled back in time a few months!
So instead of looking for things to do such as surfing, wake boarding, or hanging out on the warm beach... we had options such as skiing, tubing, or ice fishing!

But not to worry, we still got to break out the swimming suits when we visited the hot springs! Here is Nate checking things out!

And also a good friend of ours, Micah! (who isn't looking at the camera)

Here are some fun views of the place!

Where else can you build a snowman in your swimming suit! (girls pictured are unknown)

A trip with you two fabulous Walters, the witty Danielle, and the amiable Micah ... I'm so jealous. I can just imagine the conversations. Hope all is well with you Walters. Thanks for letting me look at your blog.

That looks too cold to be in swim suits, but lots of fun! Did you really build a snowman in your swim suit?
